WILMINGTON, DE – A 47-year-old Wilmington man was struck and killed while walking across Kirkwood Highway Friday night. The Delaware State Police reported at 8:00 p.m., that a black Acura ILX was traveling westbound on Kirkwood Highway west of Farrand Drive. At that time, a 47-year-old male pedestrian was walking southbound across Kirkwood Highway when he entered the path of the Acura. He suffered ‘significant’ injuries, according to the DSP.
