At about 3:12 PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, Officers assigned to District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 9 Marion Street in Roslindale. Officers made an onsite arrest of Kenneth Edwards,37, of Boston.
Upon arrival, officers observed a male, later identified as Kenneth Edwards, with what appeared to be blood on his clothing walking on Marion Street. Officers stopped Edwards and then located an adult male victim on Marion Street, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Officers on scene provided aid to the victim, placing a tourniquet on his arm and holding pressure on his wounds to control the bleeding before Boston EMS arrival. Boston EMS arrived on the scene and transported the adult male victim to a local hospital for further treatment. Edwards was taken into custody by officers on scene without incident.
Kenneth Edwards is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on a charge of was charged with Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon.
