CBP Arrests Georgia Murder Suspect in Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Port of Buffalo arrested an individual wanted out of the state of Georgia for homicide. Yesterday, CBP officers at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing encountered Dontavia Timmons, a 36-year-old United States citizen from Atlanta, Georgia. During the examination process, CBP officers discovered that Timmons had an active National Crime Information Center warrant for homicide, from Fulton County, Georgia. Further investigation confirmed the warrant that also included additional felony charges for two counts of murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of a firearm
